园冶杯世界城市论坛参展项目：Phupiman住宅景观

●Phupiman住宅，位于曼谷东北Nakhon Ratchasima省的Khao Yai国家公园附近，这是一个度假别墅的改造项目。这个项目包含三组泰式传统建筑群，第一组是主人度假时的住所；第二组是客人住所；第三组是服务性建筑，包括一个用餐的凉亭。项目的景观部分不仅延续了Khao Yai国家公园安静祥和的氛围并赋予作品泰式热情的迎宾设计理念。

This project involved the renovation of a retreat home near Khao Yai National Park, in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, northeast of Bangkok.  The property has three groups of traditional Thai▬style buildings: the first is the owner’s holiday residence, the second is for guests, and the third is a service building, including a dining pavilion.  The concept of Thai’s hospitality in the peaceful atmosphere of Khao Yai was used for this project. 

●改造前的项目缺乏“场所感”，虽然拥有古色古香附带泳池的泰式建筑，然而周遭过于繁茂的树木遮掩住了游客观赏建筑与邻近国家公园的视线，并且模糊了原有丘陵地形的场地特征。

 The existing Thai style buildings were beautiful and in good condition along with the existing swimming pool in a good position.  However there are many mature overgrown trees within the site which blocked all the buildings’ view, obscured the site’s terrain, and most of all obstructed view of the national park.  Therefore, the site lacked a ‘sense of place’, mainly because of those reasons.

● 项目改造的目的是使Phupiman重新焕发活力，设计团队决定恢复场地原有起伏的微地形并彰显出主要建筑物，映射出主体建筑和餐厅倒影的睡莲池，令每一位访者感到如归故里。

Creating a new landscape to bring Phupiman back to life again is a main objective of this project.The designer team decided to return the site to the original beauty of its hilly terrain, and in the process, to open up views of the national park and reveal the main buildings.  The old entrance and approach to the property was closed and a new one created.  A pond with water lilies was added to reflect the main building and the dining pavilion, and to create a warm ‘first-sight’ impression for the guests.  

●主人的住所和客房通过一片开放式草坪连接，每个房屋旁的花园都种有花色清新淡雅的植物，并与整体场地的景观保持协调一致。以Khao Yai国家公园景致作为背景的餐厅，现在有了一个良好观赏泳池的景观视线。

An open lawn now connects the owner’s residence with the guest buildings. Each has its own garden dash with some flowering plants to fresh up the atmosphere, but yet maintaining the natural environment’s integrity of the site and location.  The dining pavilion now has a spectacular view of the landscape surrounding the swimming pool, with the national park as a backdrop.

●一个得到客户认可的项目，成功的因素不仅仅是由于美感十足的景观设计，更深层次的原因应归功于设计师能有充分的自由进行设计的探索与实践。

  This considered a very successful project for the client was not only committed to the aesthetics of landscape design, but also gave designers total freedom to explore approaches and then implement the proposed concept.

Each home is carefully designed to provide the most relaxing and comforting atmosphere for the residents.

起伏的地形遮掩了不利的景观视线并使得景色具有一种宁静感。

The rolling landforms were created to provide sense of peaceful landscape hidden from unwanted views.

每个房屋旁的花园都种有花色清新淡雅的植物。

Each home has private garden which dash of flowering plants enough for creating some color but not disturbing the environment.

Light,shade,plant and rolling landform provide natural sense of approching each building.

这些丘陵不仅丰富了景观层次同时也象征着Phupiman山地的地貌特征。

The rolling landform not only provides endless depth of view but also symbolizes sense of place.since phu means mountain in thai.
